Kånken Rainbow

Kånken er en rygsæk med en lang historie – og symboliserer i dag funktionalitet, frihed og eventyr. Med Kånken Rainbow fejrer vi den diversitet, der er i naturen og menneskeheden.

Regnbuens symbol og værdi er indlysende; forskellighed, åbenhed og lige rettigheder indkapsler outdoorlivets ånd perfekt. Vi vil gerne være med til at fejre individets frihed til at udtrykke sig.

Samtidig har vi udvidet vores fondsarbejde her i 2019 med Arctic Fox Initiative. Med fonden ønsker vi, udover at sætte fokus på bæredygtighed og vores natur, et fællesskab hvor vi alle hjælper med til at give tilbage til naturen. Det gør man med Kånken Rainbow – en del af salget doneres til fondens arbejde med nonprofitorganisationer, der arbejder for at beskytte og fremme naturen eller til at inspirere flere folk til at komme ud i naturen.

Kånken Rainbow
With Kånken Rainbow we celebrate the diversity that is present in nature and the human race and every individual’s freedom to express themselves. For each backpack sold, 1% of proceeds is donated to projects within our Arctic Fox Initiative. A special edition pack with all that great Kånken love, and a bit more.
The rainbow is a symbol for diversity, openness and equal rights; we think it perfectly captures the spirit of outdoor life.
The Kånken Rainbow is one of many products contributing to an initiative called The Arctic Fox Initiative. This works as an umbrella under which we support different projects and organizations that work to preserve nature or inspire people to spend more time in it. Anyone is free to apply for funding.


Fjällräven
Since Fjällräven was founded, back in 1960, our mission has not wavered. We want to inspire and enable more people to experience nature. We do this by developing clothing and equipment that make the outside safer, warmer, dryer and generally more enjoyable. And by running events that provide the framework and support to make nature more accessible. We’re a team of nature lovers, some more experienced than others, that likes to spend as much time outdoors as possible. In our offices and stores we are designers, product developers, buyers, administrators, marketers, communicators, sales staff, customer service reps and business developers. In nature though, we’re all the same.
