Aarhus Pride is a celebration of diversity in Denmark’s second-largest city, also known as the “City of Smiles”. The purpose of Aarhus Pride is to contribute to the respect and acceptance of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people.
By arranging a parade through central Aarhus and a festival at Officerspladsen we want to make the LGBT culture visible in our city. The organizers hope that many individuals, rainbow families, associations, groups, organizations, companies etc. wish to participate and turn the event into a recurring success for many years to come.
Everyone is welcome to join Aarhus Pride – regardless of gender, sexual orientation, age, ethnicity, religious or political beliefs.
See you under the rainbow – on Saturday, June 1st, 2013!
